Welcome to our coverage of the 2007 Tour of Britain (UCI Category 2.1). 102 riders from 17 teams will compete in 7 stages setting off from Crystal Palace in London on Sunday the September 9th, covering 950km, and arriving 7 days later in Glasgow on Saturday September 15th.

Preview: The recycling.co.uk Pro Cycling Team set off from Crystal Palace in London on Sunday the 9th September for the start of the 2007 Tour of Britain, the UK's biggest free sporting event. This is the 4th edition of race in its modern format and the 102 riders taking part will ride 950km in 7 stages as they make their way to the final stage in Glasgow on Saturday.
The recycling.co.uk team for the race will be, multiple World Champion and 2007 Premier Calendar Champion Chris Newton, 21-year-old Rob Partridge, who finished 38th last year and is riding his 4th Tour of Britain, 19-year-old Simon Holt, 4th in the National Circuit Race Championship this year, 19-year-old Tom Diggle, winner of the Brendan Campbell Memorial Race in Ireland this year and brothers Ryan and Adam Bonser, who are 23 and 18 years-old respectively.
Recycling.co.uk will be able to test their ability against some of the world's best team's, including stars of the recent Tour de France in the shape of T-Mobile's Brit Mark Cavendish and their stage winner and Yellow Jersey wearer Linus Gerdemann, together with Barloworld's stage winner Robbie Hunter and British rider Geraint Thomas.
