Ben Greenwood Launches Web Site

01.03.07: Elite, Italian based, Lancaster cyclist Ben Greenwood has launched a website (www.bengreenwood.net) to give friends and fans a chance to keep up to date with his racing activities and current news.
The former Recycling.co.uk team rider's site includes up to date news, photos and a diary from Ben's adventures in Italy. There is also a forum for fans to keep in touch with Ben and to discuss any cycling related issues.
Speaking of the launch Ben's Dad, Brian said:
"I think the site is a great tool for people to know about what Ben is up to this year and to showcase his talents as a rider, we've worked hard to make it user friendly and I think fans will find it really useful."
About Ben:
Ben is a 22 year old from Nether Kellet, a small village near Lancaster in the North West of England.
From 2004-2006 Ben rode for the successful Recycling.co.uk Pro Cycling team. His results included wins in the National U-23 Road Race and Time Trial Championships, National Hill Climb Championship and National U-23 Series winner.
The progress continued at home in 2006 with his first Premier Calendar and National Circuit Race wins. Ben took second place in the King of the Mountains competition in the Tour of Britain.
He also rode for the Great Britain U-23 team in a mixture of U-23, amateur and professional races in Italy and beyond. He lived at Quarrata, near Florence in Tuscany with 5 other riders from the Great Britain Cycling Academy.
This year Ben is riding for the Bedogni - Natalini - Praga team and is now based at Cintolese, a small village 4 Km from Monsummano Therme near Florence. The team has been in existence for over 50 years, first as a cycling club and later as an elite racing squad.
